Tell me about yourself and your business

Glass Doctor is a full-service glass company offering everything glass related — from commercial properties to auto to residential needs such as shower doors. We are one of more than 270 locations nationwide and have been in business for over 30 years.

I started with Glass Doctor a year ago, and I head up all of our sales and marketing initiatives. When I’m not working on growing the business, you can find me at home cheering on my favorite team, KU. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

What were your sales and marketing challenges before you used Hatchbuck?

In the past year I have tried numerous CRM tools, and none of them stuck. They were all cumbersome and so hard to use. Like most sales professionals, I love building relationships and don’t have time to be bogged down by a complex CRM. During my fast-paced days I am usually a “pen and paper type” girl, but it becomes impossible to stay organized when I am out on the road selling constantly. No one can remember everything.

How has Hatchbuck specifically addressed your challenges?

We started using Hatchbuck after hiring Tom Ancona to grow our commercial glass program. Everyday he is building prospecting lists, sending emails, following up with opportunities, etc. Hatchbuck not only helps Tom stay on track and make sure he is connected to his sales pipeline, it has been extremely beneficial in helping me to immediately track his progress and performance.

What was the big “Ah-Ha!” moment that made you decide you needed to try Hatchbuck?

After my personal demo with Tegan, our Hatchbuck sales consultant, it was apparent how beneficial Hatchbuck would be in tracking our sales and marketing success. The software is super intuitive and works well with our sales and marketing processes at Glass Doctor.

 What are two or three Hatchbuck features you love?

The user interface is beautiful, and it allows our team to easily manage contacts, track our sales pipeline and monitor results. I also love the dashboard. Being able to easily see our click rates and performance metrics is a huge plus for us. I would also say that reporting has been super helpful. I am always so busy, and with Hatchbuck, I can simply log in and quickly tell my boss what’s happening in the business and share real-time stats on our most recent email campaign in seconds.

What measurable results have you seen since you started using Hatchbuck?

On the sales side, we are more organized now than ever before. Hatchbuck has put hours back in our day. On the marketing side, we just sent out our initial campaign and already we are seeing results which is exciting. Our open rates have increased by 50 percent since using Hatchbuck.

What is the single biggest reason you would recommend Hatchbuck to another business?

If you’ve tried other CRMs and they didn’t stick or you’re simply in need of an easy-to-use program to send email campaigns, Hatchbuck is by far the best one I’ve ever used. Our team loves using it, and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to make the switch.
