Tell us about yourself and your business.

Textel provides landline texting for the SMB market. We text-enable a company’s existing business phone number so they can communicate with customers the way they prefer. Our product is cloud-based and very easy for a business to set up…takes less than 15 minutes. We use both inside and outside sales efforts to call on a variety of verticals across the country, ranging from insurance agents to car dealerships to salons. I am CMO and oversee our sales and marketing efforts.

What was your greatest business or sales & marketing challenge(s) before using Hatchbuck?

We struggled to manage prospect pipeline flow during the sales cycle. There was little visibility into the progress of a sale. We also emailed our prospects very little and had no ability to warm up a cold-call by nurturing first through a campaign. We had no analytics around the success of our emails or a prospect’s interaction with our digital content.

How has Hatchbuck specifically addressed your challenges?

Hatchbuck has an easy to use pipeline management dashboard. Our sales people can now see exactly how they’re doing in their sales cycle and where they need to improve. Also, Hatchbuck has given us an easy to use engine for creating drip campaigns to prospects, along with automating tasks for our salespeople to follow up. We’re not flying blind anymore. We know which prospects are engaging with our digital content and can plan follow up accordingly.

What was the big “Ah-Ha!” moment that made you decide you needed to try Hatchbuck?

It’s SO easy! Having experience with Salesforce, we didn’t want another sales/marketing platform that was cumbersome and expensive to manage. Once we saw how easy Hatchbuck makes marketing automation we were hooked!

We are capturing business by simply sending out email campaigns through Hatchbuck.
